Set images from our work with I The Mighty on their first video off Satori.

"Speak To Me" was also the first video we shot after the new year (in January of 2013 & released in April of 2013) and was the spearhead for a string of work that is now resting on our website.

We adore these gentlemen to the moon and back.

I found this photo roaming the depths of Tumblr this evening, and with 2013 coming to a close I felt a desire to push the curtains of this year aside and look back. This was the first label funded Music Video I was given the opportunity to direct and produce with one of my great friends. We built this set, wrote a fairly intricate storyline and treatment and had fun doing it, all in a span of two weeks. We stayed up every night working out the details, finding and bookings actors only two days prior to shooting. I started drinking coffee for the first time. I even missed a handful of classes, but with the support of my professors I pressed on. It was a span of stress that without the help of my friends and family would have broken me. I can’t hide the amount of pride I have for this video, and although the reactions of some created a dark storm within me thereafter, I can’t say I walked away defeated. The generation of fire behind a keyboard taught me to never take things too seriously; to let your love for creating speak to you and be understood by you. Completely DIY and passion; you cannot tear that apart.
